Credit Repair — fix your credit or waste money?
There are many reputable companies out there working to help Americans fix their credit problems. Among these you will find what we will call wolves in sheeps clothing. These are the old guys in their underwear sitting in their momma’s basement ripping you off.
I have worked with a bunch of both so I know mostly who to steer you toward. If you have credit problems there is free help and there is legal counsel. For some excellent free help I typically recommend care one as a first option. These guys are good to work with and usually very educated about their job. They will take your hand and walk you through getting out of debt. They help you haggle with the Credit Card Companies and they even help you work out a budget.
Another good option is legal help. Sometimes you need more than counseling. You need counsel. The folks over at ovation have put together an excellent program. they have tons of resources to help you pay down debt and they will go to bat for you when the rubber hits the road.
