Is Gold really the Future?
I have always heard the old bears talk about the future of the economy. At a bank I worked in we had a handful of folks who actually kept gold bars in their safe boxes.
I ran across this story that makes you wonder.
Jewelry retailers face gold price surge
With the dow dropping over a hundred points a day lately I am thinking that old gold rope necklace i had in the late eighties is looking like the most valuable commodity I have right now.
Weigh in, what do you think? Gold or Not?

Yes, I gold is one of my favourite option of investment. I like its stabillity. One must allocate atleast 10-15% of his investment portfolio to gold. I think when all others fail gold comes to your rescue.
