Black monday worries averted — Or are they?
It appears that concerns over the housing market and consumer credit woes will not hold back the tide of consumerism we call the holiday season!
Welcome to America! It will take a hell of a lot more than some bad economy concerns to keep us from sucking the life out of our check books for Christmas.
If anything the bad economy seems to have drawn folks from the UK over here to shop with the dollar which is considerably weaker than either the pound or the Euro.
Looks like the retailers will make it at least one more year before the recession hits them.
what do you think. Should Americans be saving their dollars with the darkening economy ahead? Or should we spend more with hopes that it will recharge the dollar?
